The pot bearing is a type of bridge bearing, made up of steel component and rubber. This bearing is desirable for bridges. Pot bearing is economical due to simple construction method and it is structurally more compact, light, and lower in construction height and long service life. The main part of bearing are sliding plate, alloy steel sliding surface, bearing pot, PTFE disc, pot cover, vulcanized-in pressure seal, elastomeric pad and seal against moisture. The bearing is classified as three types: sliding guided type, free sliding bearing and fixed type. Dimensions and weights for deviating permissible concrete pressures and unusual load conditions will be calculated on request.
