The Multi-Purpose Emergency Container comprises two identical rigid half shells (stretchers) of durable moulded fibreglass resin. When locked together, the special rubbers ensures that the two shells form a hermetically sealed container. Each half shell used as a stretcher permits the transportation of the injured without the risk of aggravation to their injuries over the roughest terrain, over rubble or through swampy ground. The hermetically sealed container will transport human remains in the most hygienic manner. At no time need recovery parties come into contact with the dead.
