The process of thermo-diffusion zinc coating is supplied an effective corrosion protection of different articles, including screwed, made from steel and cast iron and working on opened air, in industrial and marine atmosphere - in any place where the required thickness of coating is more than 20 microns. The coating is uniform and does not require additional mechanical treatment like a padding surface preparation to coloring, gumming and other coverings. SHINEX is a lacquer which can be deposited like a clear film by electroplating method and by baking in oven. SHINEX is our own name which is manufactured under licence. SHINEX material is available in two types and used according to application required. SHINEX LB- Low Build gives thickness of 3 to 12 micronsSHINEX HB- High Build gives thickness of 12 to 25 microns It is applied on gold or silver plated products as a clear film. If Gold or Brass colour dyes are used, it maintains the shine for five to six years. The other advantage of using this method of depositing lacquer is that it gives even film with no runs compared to dip lacquers.If one is looking for gold colour for imitation jewellery or other gold colour products, gold die can be mixed in this lacquer and deposited on the product as a gold film. It is over 60% cheaper to get the gold colour compared to actual gold plating.
