The torque limiteras are only on gear boxes with 1.375 inch (34.8 mm) - 6 splined in put shaft. They are avaibale in three torque rating rangs that offer torsional shock load protection for the drive line between the gear box and tractor. 1. Two spring =300ft-lbs (42 KGM), maximum torque rating. This clutch is normally used on S-28-1 or S-29-1 series gear boxes. 2. Three spring =500ft-lbs (69 KGM), maximum torque rating. This clutch is normally used on S-28 or S-29 series gear boxes. 3. Four spring =650ft-lbs (90 KGM), maximum torque rating. This clutch is normally used on S-28 or S-29 series gear boxes. The torque limiters are mounted on 1.375 inch (34.8 mm)- 6 splined input shaft with the "adjusting nut" facing the gear box. The customer will need to use a flanged yoke (supplied by universal joint manufacturer ) to couple the PTO shaft to torque limiter.
