Our auto-darkening filters can change automatically from a light state to a dark state when an arc is stuck within a very very small fraction of a second, and it returns to the light state when welding stops. Light shade is a shade 4 which means you could read a newspaper at this light shade. Users can select the correct shade number for their application.
