Heavy weight drill pipes we produce are integral. Materials are from AISI 4145 H modified drill collar material. Hardbanding on both end and center of the body increases drill pipe is developed to provide a gradual transition from drill collars to the relatively light weight drill pipe. It can reduce fatigue damage to the drill pipes.
Heavy weight drill pipe is intended primarily for directional drilling. It improves directional control by reducing torque and drag.
Different size of Heavy weight drill pipe is 3 1/2", 4", 4 1/2", 5", 5 1/2" etc.
