ATA and Serial ATA (SATA) are cables used in computers to connect the harddisks to the IDE/ATA controller on the motherboard of the computer.

Depending on the max tranfer rate of the controller you have to select the right cable. For example ATA 66 means that the cable can be used with controllers with a max speed of data transfer of 66MB/s.

These cables are available in standard lengths but can be customized for your applications.
