1961 Fender Stratocaster Serial number : 57819. Weight is 3,6 kg. This is a very cool 1961 Fender slabboard Stratocaster. One tuner (low E) is a double line Kluson - not single line like the others which are correct. One pot was changed out by the previous owner. The pot code I can read is dated the 43rd week of 1960. The neck date is 1/61. There is no body date that I can find, which is unusual, but not unheard of. The body is completely original, the screwholes and 3 nail holes are completely clean with no evidence of paint. Original shim in neck pocket. I played this guitar and I have to say it really sounds good. The pickups are very articulate and they sustain very well.It comes with the original brown case.
