Iguratimod (Cas No. 123663-49-0) is one of a series of 4H-1-benzopyran-4-ones which has potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic activity. The drug is a selective inhibitor of cyclo-oxygenase-2 (COX-2), and inhibits the production of interleukin-1 (IL-1), IL-6, IL-8 and tumour necrosis factor.Antiarthritic drugs,disease-modifying drugs;treatment of rheumatoid arthritis,musculoskeletal & connective tissue diseases;NF-kappaB (NFKB) activation inhibitors.
