Angular Contact Ball Bearing
For single-row angular contact ball bearing, being under radial loads, radial force will be formed. Therefore, a pair of angular contact ball bearings should be assembled in tandem or face-to-face.
Contact angle exists between the ring and the balls. Standard contact angles are 15,25 and 40 degrees. Larger contact angles makes larger radial loading capacity. Smaller bearings are mainly used in machine tools, high-frequency motor, gas engine, oil pump, air-compressor, printing machine, etc...
