AKL-2M is manufactured as densitometer. Two main applications of this device are 1) Measurement of the normal transparency of the broths and both cultures in microbiology. 2) Measurement of thickness of films, tapes in polygraphy and printing trades. Principle of operation of the AKL-2M is based upon the optics-absorption method of measuring the indecent lamp's irradiation decreasing during its passing through measured objects.
